Create a timeline focusing around your interviewee's technological paradigm. Interview someone around your grandparents' age to get their perspective on technological change. Ask the following questions:

  1. Name and age
  2. What has been the hardest technological change you've experienced in your life?
  3. Were you able to overcome the change? If so, how. If not, how have you coped?
  4. What advice do you have for dealing with change?
  5. Do you see the replacement technology (newer tech) as having been better or worse for you and/or society? Explain.
  6. + Any other questions you feel need to be asked.

Follow the paradigm technology backwards to discover at least 5 earlier precursor technologies (levels). Find those that have had a major influence on the paradigm tech (not just versions of the same technology). List at least 4 technologies that are part of the "system" of the paradigm tech. Research each and all technologies (paradigm & system) answering the following questions on the poster:

  1. name of the technology
  2. who invented the technology?
  3. when was the technology invented?
  4. what does the technology do?
  5. why is this innovation so special? What sets it apart?
  6. fun fact about the technology?
  7. cite source(s)
  8. good quality, color image of technology
