International Relations Essay 2 ONLY ONTIME

Students are required to write a 1500 word write-up capturing the main concepts, arguments by the authors of the readings, and associated events covered in the readings assigned for that section. You should be able to summarize the main points of the various authors, compare and contrast them and add your original input.

In the second assignment, you are expected to address two interrelated questions on the global political economy. First, identify and discuss Ngaire Woods’ four aspects (or processes as she calls it) of globalization and their relevance for the study of IPE. Follow that with a discussion of how you believe states should respond to the liberalization/globalization of trade and finance. Should there be more regulation or deregulation of international trade and of finances? Why? And how? Be as specific and detailed as possible in your arguments
