Internal Controls Weaknesses

In Week 02 you determined the departments that you would like on your team to assist you in researching your accounting information system. This week you are preparing a summary of internal control weaknesses that may occur in each of those six departments.

Prepare a summary that identifies the department, the weakness, and control that you will implement in the new system. The six departments are:  1. Inventory Department 2. Finance Department 3. Human Resource Department 4. Marketing Department 5. Planning Department 6. Service Department

Identify a minimum of three internal control weaknesses in each of the six departments that you are working with.

Explain why a weakness exists and the steps that you will implement in your new system to address these issues.
