Read some more on your own about data science jobs and then submit a post indicating what would you do starting today to become a data scientist - you could talk about, what aspects of your skill sets you would strengthen, what courses you would take, whom would you network with, etc.,

First give a brief statement of what your strengths and weaknesses are as regards what is required to become a data scientist and then present the above details.

Ideally give a timeline - as in, assessing your strengths and weaknesses, give an estimate of by when you think you would be ready to fetch such a position. 

Along with it, also mention how would you use this class to help you with the goal of becoming a data scientist (this would involve reading about how excel is used for data science)
