Infectious Epiodemiology
As a graduate of the public health program at KU, you may very well be tasked with addressing various public health issues in your current job or career aspirations. Perhaps the readings and this week’s case studies have inspired you to consider a specific public health problem in your community or elsewhere. Please use this discussion board to propose a specific study or outbreak you would like to investigate. Let’s keep it professional and be sure to at least include the following information:
- Introduction to the research topic, formulation of the problem, and justification for its selection
- Formulation of the hypothesis
- Definition of all variables and their indicators
- Selection of the study design
- Description of the population to be studied
- Description of the sampling procedure
- Selection of measurement methods and statistical methods
