INDIVIDUAL TREND IMPACT REPORT

List the two most important trends within the last 3 months, as found in the WSJ.  These trends do not have to be about hospitality, but do need to directly relate to and majorly impact the hospitality industry.  Relate each trend to at least three WSJ articles (for a minimum total of 6 articles).  These trends should be topics that are receiving a lot of media “buzz”.  There should be multiple news reports regarding the topic.  Past examples have been: bedbugs, food recalls, minimum wage hikes, and mandatory healthcare.  You will be asked to share your trends report with class in a seminar environment.
