Increasing Member Satisfaction
Member services are an essential component of all managed care plans. Member services include providing information to members and resolving any problems or questions they may have. Both a reactive and proactive approach should be taken with this function. Think about your own experience with your health plan. Have you ever used their call center or customer contact center? Based on your own experience and this week's reading assignment, write a 1-page report summarizing specific actions a health plan might take to enhance member satisfaction.
