Select three of these principles and describe how you might specifically incorporate them into your classroom instruction.
The three learning principles that I would select are 1. Each brain is uniquely organized. 2. The brain’s frontal lobe is often referred to as the “executive center” because it directs much of the brain’s activity. 3. Learning is as much a social process as it is a cognitive one.
When it comes to the classroom each brain is uniquely organized helps with relating to the fact that people don’t think the same and learn in different ways. In the class it would help with the teacher understanding that students can learn in many different ways but many different tools. With the brain’s frontal lobe in the classroom that is what problem solving comes from and it would be incorporated into the instruction by creating activities that will help the brain to solve problems such as puzzles, etc. Also, learning socially is important because students learn from each other and in the classroom instruction students will have activities that will be in group settings so that the students learn from each other.
