Create a CHART that compares the following diseases as to etiology, pathogenesis, immunological mechanisms of disease , potential and current   therapies.

Chronic Hepatitis C,  Congenital Immune Deficiencies (not each one just one type),Peanut Allergy, Systemic Lupus (SLE), Type 1 Diabetes (not covered in class).

In recent years much as been made of the potential use of stem cells as a cure for many diseases or physical problems.  Pick a disease (YOUR CHOICE), to discuss past and potential future research which supports the idea that the use of stem cells may provide improvement or a cure of that disease.
