The assignment is to find a recent biological or medical discovery/innovation, and write a two-page summary that includes (1) general background on the field of biology or medicine, (2) description of the problem that the new discovery or invention will/did aid or solve, and (3) detailed description of the discovery or invention (for example, who discovered or invented it? how was it discovered or what materials were used to invent it? how does it work? how is it better than existing technology? is the discovery/invention currently available or in use? 

Papers should have 1” margins on all sides, be double-spaced and written with 12 point Time New Roman Font.
