The rest of the content provides supporting details. You will have to select one industry to limit your research domain. Therefore identify and describe this industry as part of this introduction.  Detailed Content (2 pages): A sample of available topics for this section listed in the topics below; feel free to organize the sequence of topics to best represent your research. You may find that you need to add a section not listed below which is fine; you will most certainly not be able to answer all topics below within the 2 page maximum, so select the topics that interest you or that surprised you as you did your research. o This is your report of your research; organize it so that it professionally supports your interests as well as the issues and opportunities from the first section. o Use terms and concepts acquired from this course to explain your research. o These two pages do not include tables, diagrams, pictures or graphs; these should be put in an optional appendix.  Job Description (1 page): Based on your chosen topic and industry, research a typical job description along with the education requirements, minimum experience level, and salary range for an entry level supply chain position in your chosen industry.  Citations / References / Bibliography: 3-5 references (1/2 page max). This is a short research paper – you need to find original articles on these topics from quality sources, i.e., do not use publicly edited sources such as Wikipedia, vendor white papers, consultant reports, social media or news companies. Use sources such as industry periodicals, academic journals (although most will be too complex for purposes of this report), professional organizations (APICS, PMI, ISM, etc.).  Appendix: You may add an appendix for a particularly compelling table, diagram or flow chart if this adds to your report. This is only a 5 page report (including the title page; 6 pages only if you add an appendix). Focus on doing some good research to discover the value and challenges of supply chain management. Also, note in the grading section how much weight is given to quality written communications, so be sure to proof read and edit your paper well.
