The Statement of Professional and Educational Intent should summarize the candidate’s reasons for pursuing clinical social work education in the SocialWork@Simmons MSW program and demonstrate knowledge of the social work field. The statement should explain how educational, professional, and volunteer experience has prepared the candidate to succeed in the program and why the candidate would be an asset to the Simmons School of Social Work online community. The statement should be four to six pages (double spaced) in length.
