Hello Class,

I have never had to write a negative letter or send one, but I have experience receiving a negative letter some time ago by my employer. After, working all that day and at the end of the when it was time to be release off work employees were ask to go see the secretary. During that time we call the letter a pink slip. The letter stated, that your position has been abolish because of unforeseen budget cuts which now cause the organization to downsize and restructure. Then it stated the they will offer thirty days of severance pay. What made it so harsh, they waited tell the end of work day before you were released to go home to give you the letter.
