The Informative Speech Outline is due at the conclusion of Module 5. This assignment is worth a total of 50 points.

For this assignment, you will choose your speech topic and create your informative speech outline following the guidelines and submitting in stages. The stages are:

Stage 1: Submit topic for approval.

Stage 2: Submit purpose statements, thesis and three main body points for approval.

Stage 3: Submit informative speech outline for review.

Stage 4: After review and revision of outline, presentation of speech following the outline (Module 6).

Follow the directions and the outline format because that is how you will present. This will be a formal outline with the three main parts (introduction, body and conclusion) with three main body points in logical order.

For the topics, you may choose a denotation speech (i.e., The history of baseball, the Nursing profession, meditation, LeBron James, the Buffalo Bills, music therapy, stress, etc.); a demonstration (how to change a tire, how to play Hearts, how to make chocolate chip cookies, how to plan an event, how to prepare for international travel, etc.); or an interview speech in which you will interview at least two people in your chosen career field (face-to-face or email...consider at least one face-to-face) and you will teach us about the career, trends, education requirements, and/or any other interesting facts.

Review the sample outline provided, and use the template to create your outline. You will not need to create a new template as one has been provided for you. It is expected that the outline will look exactly like the sample because that is how you will present your speech.
