Good job on these emails. I thought you structured your emails well. You also used in-text citations well to support your main ideas. I think your essays would be stronger if you incorporated some of the other "negative messages" principles in addition to the ones you included like buffered beginnings, pacing, blended outcomes, legitimize emotions, consider your audience’s perceptions, motivation, direct/indirect approach. You definitely had elements of these concepts in your emails, but I was looking for more direct discussion on these concepts (e.g. when, where, why we should use these concepts) within your essay and cite examples in your emails. Overall, good job. Keep up the great work!
