  1. We use the term “resources” a lot, right? What is a resource? It turns out that anything that is naturally out there is a resource. Yep. Anything. But, of course, it all depends on whether we know how to make use of them. The story of economic progress has also been a story of how we use various kinds of resources, which is what we will focus on this week.

    We will try to understand some of the geographic aspects of resources, by focusing quite a bit on energy; after all, we can’t have economic activities without energy.
