The main purpose of a seminar presentation is to present the main ideas in the assigned readings in such a way that it will stimulate a lively and critical class discussion. The presentation should not be confined to summarizing the assigned reading materials. Provoking debates, dialogue and discussion requires a critical presentation of the reading materials. YOU MUST INCLUDE A CRITCAL RESPONSE TO THE ARTICLE IN YOUR PRESENTATION. Your presentation should:

1. 1)  Identify the main themes/arguments of the article

2. 2)  Consider how these themes/arguments relate to the broader themes we deal with in the

   course (How does this article help us to understand some aspect of the interaction between law and religion? How do these arguments relate to arguments from other course readings?)

3. 3)  Outline your reaction to the article. Do you agree or disagree with the key points made? Why? Can you cite examples to back this up?

4. 4)  Provide 3 discussion questions for the class that emerge from your reading of the article.
