From the e-Activity, describe how the company you researched has created its unique tourism policy and how it has carried it out. Be sure to state why it is important for a tourism destination to have a formal policy, which key stakeholders are typically included in the policy making process, and why.

Several years ago, a key attraction to a mountainous area in New Hampshire was destroyed through natural causes. Suppose this area had popularized this attraction and used it as the central feature in its tourism efforts. Create a strategy that will help the tourism industry in the area remain intact without the key attraction as the central point.

Plan a renewal of a chain of 12 resorts that appeal to adults only in popular locations. Differentiate the planning process for the half that are located in the U.S. and the other half that are located in international cities. Describe the similarities and the differences in how you would arrange the activities, accommodations, and attractions. 

“Meticulous attention should be given to the environment to create a balanced combination of natural resources and man-made facilities.” Analyze the key differences between natural resources and man-made facilities as general categories of tourist attraction, and determine how you make your vacation plans based upon these differences.
