Political cartoons were used during the period leading up to World War II and during the war period to convey information, express opinion, and provide propaganda.

Find three cartoons created during this period (1919-1945). Provide the images and some background information about the cartoons - the creator and source (if known), the event or people central to the cartoon (who, what, when, where), and the message about World War II that the cartoonist was trying to convey. This should be one paragraph per cartoon.

Be prepared to discuss your cartoons in class.  After sending the assignment via dropbox, print out your assignment and bring to class. (Points deducted if unprepared for this portion of the assignment.)
