After her "boyfriend" was sent to prison, she found a job and a new place to live and was on the road to regaining custody of her other daughter. However, a random urinalysis by her probation officer came up dirty, and she was placed in an in-patient treatment program as an alternative to prison. Loretta lost her job, home, and custody of her children. Before this relapse, she had been sober for six months and was attending NA meetings.
