into a website to for defacing the website changing content]
-computer related crime[an offender utilizes a computer to commit a
crime, child porn, financial records theft, auction crimes etc]
-technology crimes[theft of any technology, theft of computer
hardware, cellphone fraud, software piracy, cable television theft]
-high-tech crime [goes unreported often, computer firms prefer to
handle computer attacks themselves, in addition a lot of high tech
crime is committed by people with the victims origination]
-internet crime[internet scams to fraud victims of money, sexual
offenders seeking children, auction fraud, system attacks, service
thefts, software piracy/privacy, hardware theft
-computer crime, computer related crime and technology crimes are all
part of a broad category of offenses that fall under the category of
high tech crime. Much of the high tech crime goes un-reported.
-the internet offers offenders anonymity
