You can get a wealth of information from both texts and websites but beware that websites’ accuracy may be questionable.  Websites are not reviewed and therefore subject to all kinds of inaccuracies and exaggerations.  Please include a minimum of 5 references with at least two from printed sources.

We will use the IEEE Citation Style in the term paper.  The University of Pittsburg has a nice write-up on line (http://pitt.libguides.com/c.php?g=12108&p=64736) but there are several.  In short, the IEEE citation style includes an in-text citations, a number in square brackets (e.g. [3]) which refer to the full citation in the reference list at the end of the paper.  For example, 

[3] Bowhers, W. J., “Power Management Device Characteristics for Semiconductor Test Instrumentation,” Proceedings of the Applied Power Electronics Conference, 2007. 

Assignment: Turn in a list of at least 8 sources that you are considering as you pull together ideas for your term paper.
