For this assignment, provide five examples of giving or altruistic behavior that were explored through the scholarly research. (Please number 1-5)

In your paper, also describe each example where giving occurred (include details about the giver, the recipient, and any other relevant information to paint a clear picture of the scenario). For each example, critically analyze (with the information you have about the event) why (from a theoretical perspective) the giver helped in the situation using one of the theories which you read about this week to explain the giving behavior (i.e., empathy-altruism, mood protection, modeling, reciprocal altruism, social-exchange theory, etc.).

Be sure to support and fully explain why each example aligned with the theoretical approach that you selected.

Finally, conclude your paper with a brief paragraph supporting or not supporting the existence of true altruism based on your review of the examples you provided and the theories that best explain one’s motivations for giving.
