Risk management and threat assessments have been used for many years, but in the post 9/11 world these topics have become center stage for all emergency services. For your essay paper:

1) Discuss how the attacks of 9/11 brought the various emergency service agencies together, and as a result what programs were implemented.

2) Address how the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) adopted an “all-hands” approach to evaluating, planning, assisting, and recovering from terrorist attacks.

3) Include a section that talks about other types of emergencies and the importance of identifying threat vulnerabilities.
