History Questions

I have 3 questions each question you need to determine which country is it, the only source to answer these 3 questions is Bonnie G. Smith book no out sources will be accepted :

1- Yalta agreemenet promised to divide country into two parts  what is that country( not Germany because they divided it into four parts)

2-Country decided not to join league of nations ? ( not Germany nor Japan)

3-Japanese wanted this country for it's oil what is that country? ( not USA, nor China)
