Assignment:

Choose either Thearticle posted below: “Global Warming's Terrifying New Math” by the climate leader Bill McKibben (who is coming to San Diego to speak on Wed the 19^th (before Thursday and who you can see for extra credit if you can track it down)

OR

PBS Frontline The Rise of ISIS (from the last month sometime – find it at the PBS.org website under Frontline.)

Write up task:

 (No more than ¾ of a page double spaced):

1)     Critique the article.

2)     What more specifically do you wish you knew about the subject beyond the article?

You must highlight or mark it up, & include notations, so that you are ready to explain your selection to a class partner or the class.
