History papers in APA format

Much occurred during World War II to countries beyond the most well-known participants such as Great Britain, France, Italy, the United States, Germany or the Soviet Union.  Choose one of the following European nations: Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland, Romania, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Spain, Portugal, Norway, or Finland.

Using proper APA style for in-text and source citations, write a two to three page essay about the roles that country played in World War II.  You must use at least two sources from the library or academic Internet locations.  Highly-rated papers answer the following questions:

I.     What side (Axis, Allies, or neutral) did the country take in World War II? Why? What did they hope to gain (or keep from losing)?

II.    What importance did this country play in the war? Did its soldiers fight mainly at home or in other theatres of the war? What key battles (if any) did they participate in?

III.   What happened to this country by the end of the war? Approximately how many people of that nation died as a result? If it was part of the Axis, did this country attempt negotiations with the Allies on its own (without the support of the Axis)? Did it gain or lose territory? How does the country’s citizen’s look at its participation in the war today?
