  Then discuss:  In her essay, Long examines many topics mentioned in lecture and in Misa's chapter (patronage, the role of books, social context etc).  She focus on several aspects of this history: 1) the importance of the printing press over the scribal system, 2) the power relationship between artisans and the various elite princes, and others.  Please discuss both the following topics in your 250-350 word essay:

   A) First, choose one of the images included in her essay. Discuss the historical importance of this image. That is, how does it relate to tacit knowledge, printing technologies, the four applications of technology and patronage.  Which author used the image and how?

   B) Second, based on the film about Leonardo DaVinci, discuss how he fits into Long’s discussion of Prince Practitioners?
