After reading the assigned chapter, address the following questions in informal English. Each essay must include an Introductory paragraph, a conclusion, and developed paragraphs with topic sentences that address the question. No shortcuts, abbreviations, listings or subtitles with be accepted in these responses!! Please review the example I provide under Course CONTENT for guidance.

1. Discuss what you deem the TEN most important developments, events and/or episodes discussed in the chapter. You must explain the historical importance of each of the TEN.

Question #2:

1. What information in the chapter interested you most; interested you least? Explain your response.

a.  The text discusses the revolutionary plot of Vesey, the revolutionary attempt of Nat Turner and several other direct measures to end slavery.  Had you been alive during this era would you have employed violent means to end slavery?
