1.  Is the U.S. victorious in Iraq? How would you define success? If not successful, how would you define failure and what would it take to claim victory?

2.  Compare and Contrast actions in Afhanistan with actions in Vietnam.  What is your prediction on a successful outcome and how do you define success? ( 2 pages and counts as 2 questions)

3..  Under what conditions did the U.S. justify the dropping of the atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima? Would members of taht adminsitration be considered war criminals? and why? Would the U.S. ever use a nuclear device against an adversar?

4.  The U.S. claimed vicory, but did the U.S. sustain victory in the Korean Conflict? Based on current events in Korea, how stable is the region today?

5.  Can technology win wars? Use examples from WWI, WWI, Vietnam and Afghanistan

6.  Should the U.S. have become involved in International conflicts? What benefit does it serve for the U.S. to become the world's police.
