I was just checking to make sure that the up-load function was enabled and I made a small change to the instructions of the assignment. The world limit of 2,500 (or 5,000) was the minimum. I didn't want anyone to think that they had to stop at 2,500 but I also didn't want people to think I was moving the goal-post either.

2,500-3,000 would be the acceptable range. If you find the 3,000 words is not enough, then you may need to work on focusing your paper. Trim superficial discussions to make room for the important stuff. This should work out to 10-12 pages, depending.
