Help on my Earth Science essay, ITS VERY SIMPLE

Dear class, I am offering an optional extra credit assignment. The assignment consists of writing a one-page abstract in one of the following three references below. It is worth up to 10 points (please note the deductions for not following guidelines). • The abstract should be a minimum 9 JUST MORE THAN 100 of ~100 words and follow MLA format - https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/656/01/ (deduction 3 points if less 100 words) • It should also include a works sited page. (deduction of 2 points for missing reference) • research style of writing, so do not give personal options or experiences (write 3rd person) (deduction for lack of research style up to 3 points) • proper grammar and spelling (deduction of up to 3points) • I will further discuss this optional assignment in class.
