Time | Type of Interaction (Interspecific or Intraspecific) | Description of Interaction | Classification of Relationship (Predatory-Prey, Competitive, or Mutualism) |
0800-1700 | Intraspecific | Interacting with customers on their accounts | Competitive |
1230 | Interspecific | Hit armadillo crossing road during lunch hour | Predator/prey |
1300 | Interspecific | Ate double bacon cheeseburger | Predator/prey |
1315 | Intraspecific | Gave mother dollar to cover her meal | Mutualism |
1800 | Intraspecific | Made dinner with family | Mutualism |
1830 | Interspecific | Ate chicken and stuffing | Predator/prey |
1930 | Interspecific | Feed dog daily meal | Mutualism |
2115 | Interspecific | Killed spider in the bathroom | Predator/prey |
The competitive action today was similar to hyenas battling over a kill for the larger portion. The predatory/prey action was similar to that of a hippo and a field mouse. As the hippo moves across the savanna, his larger size squashes and kills the mouse without any detriment to its self. Mutualism is similar to that of fish and the ocean and the coral reefs. The two living organisms live together and use each other to help benefit the greater good to help both species survive.
It is important to be able to be aware of each and every interaction with one's self and every organism that surrounds them. By being competitive with others, it pushes one's self to become better and stronger which goes to the basic life principle of survival of the fittest. By being aware of the predator/prey relationship in life, it helps to clarify one's place in the food chain, or even the hierarchy of life. Mutualism is a under appreciated trait that reminds all that without one, the other cannot survive. As humans deplete natural resources, encroach and even kill off species, humanity has sentences different species or even different cultures to possible extinction. By knowing how the world works, one must comply to the rules of nature to help preserve and nurture life of all kind.

11:00 | Interspecific | Went to the gym to work out | Predator/prey |
1:00 | Interspecific | Had a salad for lunch at soup plantation | Predator/prey |
3:30 | Intraspecific | Gave a homeless man two dollars to buy some food. | Mutualism |
4:00 | Intraspecific | Made dinner with family | Mutualism |
5:30 | Interspecific | Ate BBQ for dinner | Predator/prey |

Part B: Describe an interaction in nature similar to what you experienced or witnessed:
1:00pm (interspecific) A homeless man receives a few dollars to buy something to eat for the day because I took the time out to acknowledge him and not just myself. The benefit is that the homeless man will be able to put something in his stomach to avoid being hungry.
9:00am (intraspecific) I was looking for a good deal on an apple mini iPad 2 at best buy. The sales associate did a search on his phone to see who offered the best price because they offer competitive price match with other competitive stores to make sure that I get the lost price possible.
It’s important to be aware of each interaction with self, others and surrounding. It keeps you aware of common behaviors and helps people interact with individuals better and more confident. Recognizing mutualism means that you understand and can related with the fact we are different, in which we can learn for each other and apply some of the principles to real life situations. People have to respect species and understand they are just like humans. They connect the same as human, touch, feel and smell. Some species are used to help human with everyday operations of life
