Health information Management

Knowing all that you now know about paper health records and electronic health records, it is time to choose your health record system for the new, small hospital that is opening in your community. You have been hired as the Health Information Manager! You have been asked to make a proposal in writing. Will you go with traditional paper records, or will you suggest an electronic health record?

Requirements:

1. Write a 1-2 page report that justifies your choice of paper or electronic health records. Be sure to include:
• the reasons for your decision, and
• the advantages of your proposed choice.
2. Cite supporting materials for your decision from scholarly materials such as journals.

Your paper should:

• be 1-2 pages in length.
• properly cite research sources.
• be free of spelling and grammar errors.
