Grant Writing Final

For your Portfolio Project, you will write a grant proposal on behalf of a human services program called the Sexual Assault Services Center, a real program that is operated by Guardian Angel Community Services of Joliet, IL. Your proposal will be a $10,000 request for general operating support.

• Throughout this course you have been reminded to review information about the Sexual Assault Services Center program. You can do so again by clicking the SASC Program Plan document attached below.
• Open the Portfolio Project Grant Proposal Template (attached below), which you will use to write your grant. (This grant proposal template is provided courtesy of The Chicago Community Trust.) Read the grant proposal carefully and follow the directions exactly. Pay close attention to the word-count limitations for each section of the grant proposal.
• Write your grant proposal for the Sexual Assault Services Center using the grant proposal template.

2. Please fill out the grant proposal template completely.

You will find significant information to help you in the description of the Sexual Assault Services Center plan and on the Guardian Angel Community Services website, www.gacsprograms.org. You will also need to also refer to your textbook and to the module lectures in order to complete the proposal. In your written responses, where appropriate, follow APA/CSU-Global guidelines for style, grammar and organization.

You are being evaluated on the thoroughness of your grant proposal. Keep in mind that you have very limited space on the grant proposal for your response, so be concise while supplying the most appropriate information you can.
