Instructions- A Criminal Justice Agency Grant in Illinois

Research a criminal justice agency or related agency in your area of interesr (preferably in human services), and list a grant that the agency received in the past 5 years. Also, include the purpose of the grant and how the agency has used the grant.

Assignment Guidelines

•Research a criminal justice agency or related agency in your area of interest.

•Address the following in 750–1,000 words:

 ◦What grant received by your selected agency did you choose? Why?

◦What is the purpose of the grant? Explain in detail.

◦What components of the grant are well written? Explain.

◦What are 3 questions that you would ask the grant writer? Why?

◦What was the intended audience of the grant proposal? Explain.

◾Was the grant written effectively with regard to the intended audience? Why or why not?

•Remember to fully support your arguments with scholarly resources.

•Be sure to reference all sources using APA style.
