Government Assignment

Last week’s discussion and readings focus on the different theories and ideologies used in the discipline of Political Science. This assignment requires you to write a persuasive essay explaining the political theory and ideology from Week One that you think would best address the following two items:

• Discuss whether more or less government involvement with society is more effective at meeting the needs of U.S. citizens.
• Describe the theory and ideology from Week One that support your response to the item above and why.

This essay will be divided into the following five sections:

1. Introduction: Describe your thesis and present an outline of the main points discussed in your paper.
2. Discuss whether more or less government involvement with society is more effective at meeting the needs of U.S. citizens.
3. Describe which theory and ideology from Week One support your response to section two.
4. Explain why the theory and ideology from Week One you selected support your response to section two.
5. Conclusion: Summarize your thesis and main findings.

The paper must beThree to Four pages in length (excluding title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must use at least two scholarly sources other than the textbook to support your claims. Cite your resources in text and on the reference page.
