This discussion will be done as a group project. Select an industry that interests you (the same industry cannot be used by multiple participants in the same group), and respond to the following:

• In your selected industry, comment on whether the U.S. government would support a business owner's decision to expand internationally or import, in light of the balance of payments and how the move internationally may affect the business's reputation as a local small-business owner.

The group will submit a consolidated discussion response to the above topic after each group member has submitted his or her thoughts, ideas, and comments as they relate to his or her industry.
