1.     A number of our authors explore the connection between the individual and larger social structures. Drawing on at least one text, explain how the author makes that connection, and the connection is important to articulate.

2.     What is the theory of social construction, and why has it been important to feminist thinking? Give at least two examples of how or where gender is socially constructed.
