The Fukushima Nuclear Accident

As with Modules 4 and 5, using the Internet, research a radiological or nuclear incident and write a synopsis about it answering the following questions. Your synopsis should be no less than 2-3 pages in length. Cite your sources using APA format.

1. Describe the radiological or nuclear incident and where it took place.
2. What radiological or nuclear element was involved and what symptoms were present in the people exposed?
3. How was the emergency managed? What agencies responded to the incident? Was the response timely and effective?
4. Do you agree or disagree with the management plan? If you disagree, what would you have done differently? 
5. Can anything be done to avoid this type of emergency in the future? Why or why not?
