Step Two of the Final Paper. Look at the topic you selected in Step One of the Final Paper. With that concept in mind, identify and summarize a related theme you find in the poetry of the writers in both the Romantic and the Victorian Eras. Perhaps you are noticing subjects such as spirituality, criticism of government or politics, or how the different eras regard nature.

In your summarizations, provide six examples of your identified theme; choose three each from the Romantic and the Victorian writings. Ensure your examples clearly demonstrate an understanding of the importance of the theme in each of the writings.

The purpose of writing these interpretations is so you can develop some continuity between the different periods as they relate to the observations and analyses you have begun from Step One.

The paper must be 700 to 900 words, include a separate title and reference page, and be formatted according to APA style. You must use at least two scholarly sources to support your claims and sub-claims found through a library database like JSTOR. All sources must be properly cited.
