Major Project: The student will be considered the financial representative on a team from a conglomerate tasked to acquire a company in a new industry. At least three companies in an industry selected by the student from any source may be compared from a financial perspective using the short term theories and techniques learned in this course. A recommendation must be made to the board of directors, instructors and other classmates, based on appropriate research of the industry and each of the companies being considered, and fully supported by the relevant references.
