FINITE MATH PROBLEM

Part 1.

Let's say company has two branches BR1 and BR2

Table A below represents number of people,

Male and Female, working in each branch.

Numbers M1,F1,M2,F2 assigned for you in the Table B below.

1) Convert numbers M1,F1,M2,F2 to probabilities.

2) Find probability that randomly selected person from this company is Male: P(Male).   

3) Find probability that randomly selected person from this company is Femle: P(Female).

4) Find probability that randomly selected person from this company is Male OR this person works in branch BR1: P(Male or BR1).

5) Find conditional probability that randomly selected person from this company works in branch BR2 GIVEN that person is Female: P(BR2 | Female).        

Part 2.

Create your number collection, any 5-7 numbers of your choice.

1) Arrange them in order and find Median and Mean.

2) Calculate Sample Variance and Sample Standard Deviation for your collection.
