“Social stratification, defined as a system by which a society categories of people in a hierarchy” (Society: the basics, 2016). Social stratification is a trait of society, the trait affects class, race, gender, and beliefs. Is indeed that we see an inequality treat in our society whether you’re at work, school, shopping store or public places. An example of social stratification is the movie Titanic which was made from a true event in the year 1912. The ship had 2,300 passengers, including the crews, and different classes of people.
