spousesyAttached is a set of past financial statements & pro formas for Dell. I'd like you to do two things for Monday. First, attach a valuation model to the pro formas & come up with a justification for the price that Michael Dell & friends paid to take the firm private. You will also need to adjust the assumptions underlying the pro formas. For now I used the data from 2013 as a "placeholder." Second, this past week Dell announced the acquisition of EMC for $67B - the largest acquisition in tech history. Do your best to update the pro formas & valuation model to reflect the acquisition. Have a one page write-up & screen shot(s) of your model ready to turn in.
