Everything in description
Find a newspaper or magazine article online that relies on a survey or research study. Identify the sample and population and then discuss whether the sample is large enough, representative (diverse enough), and random. If the article lacks information about some of these aspects, discuss what would constitute a good sample in the situation the article is describing. ( For example, if the article were discussing Oscar voting, you could argue that the sample should include younger voters so as not to skew excessively towards more traditional movies).
