This project is merely meant to have look around your world and see if you can identify a situation that you could model using any of the tools found in this course.

1. Identify a situation that can be modeled. Provide a description that outlines key issues and goal. It can come from work, home, school, commuting, etc.

2. Choose the outcome.

3. Prepare an influence chart.

4. Choose a tool from the course. Explain why it is useful.

5. To the best of your ability use excel to develop a model. You may make up your data.

6. Explain what you have learned in this course that helps you with carrying out this assignment.

1. Logical influence chart

2. Explanations are sound and rely on course lessons

3. Degree of sophistication in identified situation to be modeled (put some creativity into your work)

4. Degree of sophistication in excel model

5. Degree of accuracy in model’s ability to address the situation
