Using the business plan template provided in the “Materials” section of iTunes U, each team will develop a complete new product or process proposal using “Design Thinking” techniques that solve a demonstrated real world need. Your plan should utilize all the techniques and templates that have been provided this term including, but not limited to: executive summary, elevator speech, SWOT analysis, competitive climate, market opportunities, costing and sales proposals, cash flow statements, breakeven analysis and anticipated balance sheet. Your plan should also use marketing plan, sales forecasts, organizational chart and team bios (alternate templates and styles are acceptable, however all sections of the business plan proposal should be presented). The presentation should be written as if you were presenting to potential investors, which means explaining where you are in the life cycle, what the funds will be used for, the ROI of the investment and what form of investment you are seeking.
