Ethical Theory Paper

Write a 750-1,000-word essay about the concept and importance of ethical theory. Include the following in your paper:

Part I:     Define and explain ethical theory. Be sure to identify the nature, grounds, and methods for moral judgments.

Part II:   Assess the importance of metaethics for determining moral judgments.

Part III:  Explain how ethical thinking results in practical, moral action. Briefly illustrate how this is applied in your personal life.  

Note: Part I and Part II will be incorporated into the Topic 7 Benchmark - Ethical Theory & Application Paper. Your instructor will provide you with feedback for these parts for further development.

Include three or more scholarly resources, which may include your textbooks and articles in Topic 1, and additional scholarly articles.
