Establishing an HR Plan

For our discussion, you are to assume the position of a consultant to an owner of several small convenience stores.  The owner hired you to establish a process for ensuring the owner has valid selection measures for each position in the store.  Based upon what you have read and learned in chapters three and four:

1. What types of recommendations would you make to help the owner establish an appropriate HR plan?  List two.

2. What method of job analysis would you recommend?

3. Would you recommend a formal job rewards program?  If so, describe one job reward you would recommend to the owner.  If not, explain.
